In Real Life: Week 32

Happy Sunday, friends! Here’s a peek at our week 32.

I spent last Sunday back at the A’s stadium with a friend who’d never been before but wanted to go before they tear it down.

I was 100% not invested in either team, but tickets were cheap and I will never complain about an excuse to watch live baseball.

Yes, I eat ketchup on my hotdog. Come at me, bro.

Then I got to come home and snuggle with my peanut. A truly great day.

And how adorable is this HD plaid shirt?! (I don’t know wtf is going on with his hair in that picture on the right. I swear it normally doesn’t look like that.)

Saw some interesting restaurant names and signage this week.

First Burritozilla and now Scoopzilla? I’m sensing a theme.

Chocolate-covered espresso beans are helping to scratch more than one afternoon itch lately.

Signs of fall are popping up everywhere!

I am so ready.

Hot dog, he’s awfully cute!

May I have a large soda, please?

In love with my new Torrid dress. It has a subtle Harry Potter print, this beautiful lace back, and pockets!

Come to mama.

Shine on, little flower.

Temptation, thy name is Costco.

True love is letting him steal all of the M&Ms out of my trail mix.

Sounds like my kinda place.

I love how San Francisco is simultaneously full of new skyscrapers and old architecture.

Like whispers of days gone by.

SF is a melting pot of different cultures.

I’ve been dying to get back to Brenda’s ever since I had their epic chicken etouffee last fall. And the opportunity finally presented itself during a little adult adventure day this weekend!

I was initially a little sad that they were only serving the brunch menu, but this pulled pork benedict quickly cured that.

After lunch, we headed over to the Orpheum to watch Les Miserables!

It was simply fantastic.

And the detail of the theater was breathtaking.

The ceiling in the main auditorium made me think of Dante’s Inferno.

And this was the ceiling in the balcony lobby! Can you imagine how much work it took to create this?

There’s always something to shake your head at in the city.

Thanks for the warning!

I did!

And that’s a wrap! How was your week 32?

Have a great week ahead!

Let’s take a look into the past…
